CSR ACTIVITIES
At the heart of our mission lies a deep-rooted commitment to health, wellness, and social responsibility. As a service-oriented organization grounded in the principles of Ayurveda and holistic healing, our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives are focused on creating lasting positive impact in the communities we serve.
We believe that true wellness goes beyond individual health it extends to the wellbeing of society and the environment. Through our CSR efforts, we aim to promote accessible healthcare, support traditional knowledge systems, empower local communities, and contribute to a healthier, more equitable future for all.
Supporting War-Affected Communities with Ayurvedic Care
As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), we undertook a compassionate initiative during the years 1990–2000 to support families displaced from Jaffna due to the war crisis. Understanding the trauma and health challenges faced by these communities, we provided free Ayurvedic treatments and consultations to help restore their physical and mental well-being through traditional healing.
To ensure the continuity and effectiveness of these services, we sourced essential Ayurvedic medicines directly from India, overcoming logistical challenges to serve those in need. This initiative reflected our deep commitment to holistic health and our belief in Ayurveda as a path to healing, especially during times of crisis.

We extended vital support to women affected by the 2004 tsunami in Batticaloa, Sri Lanka. We provided Ayurvedic medicines through a donation to the Suriya Women’s Development Center, which were used in relief camps. This initiative aimed to promote health and well-being among displaced women and families during a critical time of recovery.

Our Commitment During Pandemic

In line with our enduring commitment to social responsibility, we have consistently supported citizens across Sri Lanka, particularly during times of COVID-19 pandemic. During this health crises in Sri Lanka, our team rose to the occasion by offering high-quality Ayurvedic services and support to affected communities.
Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, we took proactive steps to support the frontline forces by volunteering at the Palaly Quarantine Centre in Jaffna. As part of our efforts, we prepared and distributed a specially formulated Herbal Drink designed to strengthen the immune system, grounded in Ayurvedic principles and traditional knowledge.
At Mangalapathy Ayurveda, we believe that small acts of kindness can make a big difference. As part of our CSR initiatives, we had the privilege of providing food and special treats to the children at a home in Jaffna, bringing smiles and nourishment to their day.
This heartfelt contribution was made possible by our founder, Dr. Mangalambigai Ammal’s mother, whose generosity continues to inspire our commitment to holistic well-being and community care.
